Autum Vehicle- "It's Show Time!"

"It's Show Time!"

This learning vehicle will have a focus on the world of theatre and entertainment. The outcome of the vehicle is that the children will produce their very own Y3 Showcase, for parents and friends to watch.

Year 3 have had a fantastic Autumn term. They've really enjoyed getting stuck into their "theatre" vehicle. We've had a backstage tour of Stafford Gatehouse and have seen Madagascar the Musical live at the Regent Theatre. We have also been lucky enough to take part in a theatre workshop led by Andy Reiss, director of the theatre company "Beyond The Barricade".

On Thursday 5th December, the children took to the spotlight, when they performed at St Mary's Christmas Tree Festival. They sang a range of Christmas Carols to a live audience and did a fantastic job!

Our Final Showcase:

Well done to Y3 on producing an incredible show, on Thursday 19th December, which showcased all their learning this term.

The whole school and parents / family members really enjoyed their performance. A huge thank you to Mrs Helliker for accompanying the children at this event. We raised a fantastic £21 on the raffle and refreshments.

Miss Vaz is extremely proud of the children and the way they have worked all term!
