Friday 5th February

Happy Friday!

You will find your phonics activities on Purple Mash today. Have a go at the activities in your To Do folder.

In our Literacy today we will find out whether Mary and Toto get eaten by the enormous crocodile. Listen to the next part of the story and see if your prediction was right. I would then like you to see if you can answer the questions about the story so far.

In our Maths, we are going to recap the work we have done so far this week using numbers to 50. I have attached a video link below to recap the tens and ones part of the learning and there are two sets of worksheets for you to have a go at covering the tens and ones and the . Complete them both if you want to or focus on the area that you feel you need to practise a bit more.

Spr1.5.4 - Tens and ones

This is "Spr1.5.4 - Tens and ones" by White Rose Maths on Vimeo, the home for high quality videos and the people who love them.

We have DT this afternoon and we are going to make a different sort of moving picture today. Your butterfly sliders were amazing and I know that these hinged pictures will be too. You will need some paper or card, some scissors and some colouring pens for this. Look through the powerpoint to see my example and have a go at making one of your own. Your crocodile doesn't have to be hiding behind the weeds in the muddy river - you could hide him somewhere else if you want to. If you have any better ideas - then feel free to create them!

The enormous crocodile - Now you see him, now you don't!

Finish the week off by watching this story about another reptile.
