Monday 30th November
Good morning! I hope that you have all had a lovely weekend and are ready for some more learning. It is not long until we see each other now - I am really looking forward to seeing you all again on Friday.
Remember to keep going with your phonics lessons this week. You have all been doing so well with these. I have seen some amazing spellings and I know that you are working hard with your sounds. It is really important for our reading and writing that we keep practising our phonics. Keep up the good work!
In our Literacy this week we are thinking about a story called, 'Bob the Bubble.' I have attached the pack of information that you will need for this work separately under this week's work links. Don't worry - I know it has a lot of pages - you do not need to print them all. We will be working through selected activities and all work can be completed on pieces of paper - but you will need to refer to different pages in the pack throughout the week.
Today I would like you to read (or listen) to the story about Bob the Bubble on pages 3 & 4. Then see if you can complete the 'bubbles' activity on Page 5 and challenge yourself to see if you can remember 'who said what' in the story on page number 7.
For Maths this week we are still practising our subtraction skills. Today you will be exploring a range of ways to 'find the difference.' There are 2 video clips to watch today to help you to fill in the worksheets.
