Tuesday 19th January
We have a whole school assembly today with Mrs. Corbett at 11.45. It would be great if you are able to join us. You will find the link for this below.
After completing your phonics for today I would like you to complete the second lesson on our new story, 'How butterflies came to be.' You will be practising telling the story from memory today. Good luck!
In our Maths today we are continuing with our work on subtraction. Work through the powerpoint slides below with me then have a go at completing pages 29 - 31 in your Power Maths books. I finally managed to make it bigger for today - but apologies for the crazy cursor at times! Let me know how you get on!
This afternoon I would like you to complete your ICT. You will find an activity on Purple Mash for you to complete. Watch the video clips showing the park then see if you can type some words to show me the things that you would be able to see, hear, smell, touch and taste if you were to visit this park. Use the pictures and sentence starters to the left and right of the screen to help you and then fill in your other words using the keyboard to type them.
And your final task for today is to complete your RE. In the Gospel on Sunday we learn about the story of the first disciples. Watch the video below to remind you of this story. The disciples were Jesus' special friends. I want you to have a think about what things you think make a good friend. Would you want a friend to be kind or mean? Caring or selfish? See how many ideas you can come up with.
