Tuesday 24th November
Good Morning everyone! Thank you for all of your hard work yesterday. You did a great job with all of the work that I set for you.
We have some more fun activities to complete today - I hope you enjoy them!
Hopefully you are all finding that you can access your phonics learning through the links that are being sent via email. Please let me know if you have any problems with these as this is an important part of our daily learning. Don't forget to use these to complete your phonics work for today!
For your Literacy I would like you to follow the lesson on the Oak National Academy website about 'Instructions.' You will be practising your plurals and then listening to the instructions on how to make a magic hat. Please use the link below to access this lesson. You will need a pencil and a piece of paper to complete the activities.
At school we would be completing ICT and History in the afternoon today.
For your ICT I would like you to log onto Purple Mash and use the Art tools to choose a picture to colour or to draw one of your own. You could draw the things that you would like to appear with your magic hat (you will find out about this in the Literacy lesson today). Please hand these in to me as I would love to look at them!
For your History today I would like you to learn about a famous explorer from a long time ago called Christopher Columbus. Watch the video on BBC Bitesize about him and them see if you can answer the questions. Following on from this video you will find the video about Neil Armstrong. You could watch this as well and remind yourself about the things we learnt about him.
In our Literacy today we are completing some work about a magic hat. I have found a story for you to listen to and enjoy that also has some magic in it!
