- Water bottles - children have access to their water bottles throughout the day (Please make sure that it is named)/
- PE kits - children can keep their PE kits in school, we will send them home again at half term.
- Reading books and folders - please bring these in to school every day.
Grateful and Generous
Year 1 have been thinking about our virtues for this term. We discussed all the things were grateful to God for and placed them in our class prayer jar. We took some time to be still and sent our prayers to God.
Move to the Beat!
Year 1 have enjoyed exploring lots of drums through our music lessons. They have had the opportunity to explore steel pans, african and indian drums. They have certainly enjoyed moving to the beat!
As part of our science work we have been looking at the changes in the seasons. We collected, explored, compared and enjoyed!
We were certainly entertained by our trip to the Entertainer!
Year 1 enjoyed visiting “The Entertainer” in town as part of their toy vehicle!
They went to the toy shop to explore the toys that are about today. They had a hands on play with some of them and found out information about which toys were the most popular and where they came from!
Y1 were all lucky enough to leave with their very own goody bags!
They are looking forward to comparing these toys with the ones that they will see in the toy museum after the half term holiday!
