Welcome to Year 6's Class Page Spring 2021

Mrs Gill and Mrs Charman

Happy New Year! Year 6 have an exciting Spring term ahead full of new challenges through our class vehicle 'Keep the Home Fires Burning'.

As always if you wish to discuss any aspect of the Year 6 Curriculum or any issues regarding your child please make an appointment to see me at the office or email

Please check back weekly to see what Year 6 have been up to as they love to share their learning journey!

Lock-down Learning

The Google Classroom contains all resources for daily live learning for Year 6 including a weekly timetable.

For those children of Critical Workers attending school please ensure the children wear additional layers e.g. vest or T-shirt under shirt or bring an extra jumper as the classroom has to be kept ventilated. Also they will need to wear PE kit on a WEDNESDAY and FRIDAY.

Learning Highlights - Spring 2020

I will be adding images from school and home learning during the Spring term. Dolores, Amelie, Noah and Scout have started us off this week. Noah and Scout, believe it or not, are pictured half way up Ben Nevis (they haven't broken lock-down but have started the new Three Peak Challenge!).  Dolores sent in the amazing drawing of William Morris from our Art lesson this week. Finally Amelie assures me this was the PE lesson and she is not in this postion when completing her Maths tasks:).

Ten Ten PSHE - RSE lessons

Year 6 will be covering Module 1 Unit 3 Emotional Wellbeing. Please click on the link below to access the content of this module through the parent portal.  Below is also a leaflet outlining the units content.  The children will be covering the 4 lessons during the Spring term.  If you have any further questions please drop me an email at .
