Progression in Maths
At St Austin's we follow the Power Maths curriculum which is supported by the use of the NCETM progression grids and the DFE RTP (ready to progress)Maths guidance for Key Stage 1 and 2 July 2020. These grids help us to ensure work is pitched at an appropriate level and support the inclusion of problem solving and reasoning opportunities to ensure mastery is achieved. They also help us identify gaps in learning and support pupils learning journey.
