This term, our vehicle will be:

Beside the seaside!

During this vehicle, the children will be looking at the seaside in History, thinking about the way holidays have changed for us over the last 100 years. In DT, the children will be making puppets. We plan to use these puppets to perform a puppet show for nursery at the end of the term. We will also be having a look at the months of the year, the seasons and weather in both Science and Geography. After the May half term, we will start to have a look at plants and will even be doing some of our own planting!

Our routines:

PE will be on Tuesday afternoons and Friday mornings. Please come to school in your PE kit on these days.

Reading books and reading diaries must be in school every day (reading books are needed daily in Phonics lessons)

Homework will be uploaded every Friday onto the homework tab on the class page.

Phonics videos will be sent home each week. These videos will focus on the sounds children have been learning in their phonics groups.
