week 13 (4.12.23)

This week we have been learning about number bonds to 5.  use the ladybird game below to see how many different ways you can make the numbers to 5. 

Use the QR codes and your blending books to keep practising your sounds and reading of CVC words. 

We are assessing all children in phonics over the next few weeks so we want them to do their best and have all set 1 sounds (and blending) ticked off before Christmas. 

Well done to all the children who have completed their formation sheet and returned it (they have been given a sticker on their charts). This week we are focusing on letter d and g.  This follows nicely on from the letter 'a' as they are all formed in the same direction.
