Afternoon activities:

(please try and complete some of these optional activities throughout the week!)

What did you do over the Easter holidays?

I would love to hear about your 2 week break!

You could create a photo collage / diary / poem / poster and post it on class dojo!

SCIENCE:

Read the powerpoint / pdf information about the different nutrient groups.

Can you create a poster to teach me about the 7 types of nutrients?

ART:

Over the next few weeks we are going to be looking at creating our own Comic Strips.

Follow this link (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Nb_ZDvoWEg), watch the tutorial and have a go at creating your own comic characters from simple shapes!

HISTORY:

Pretend you are an archeologist!

Look at the artefacts on the worksheet. Can you answer the questions and think about what the artefacts might tell us about Egyptian life?

GEOGRAPHY:

We are going to start learning about volcanoes!

Watch the videos on BBC bitesize (https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/topics/z849q6f/articles/zd9cxyc) and take the mini-quiz.

Then complete the worksheet where you have to locate famous volcanoes on the map.
