Wednesday (13.05.20)

Hello! Welcome to Wednesday!

So far this week in phonics we have learnt the split digraph 'u-e' and 'e' (as in we). Don't forget your phonics learning today and try to complete a couple more pages in your phonics buster booklet.

For our Literacy work today I would like you to write your own Minibeast Riddle. You may remember when we wrote these about pets a few weeks ago. You need to make sure that you remember a capital letter, full stop / question mark and finger spaces in your writing. See if you can also use some good adjectives to describe your minibeast. After you have written your riddle, read through the ones in the powerpoint below. How many of the minibeasts can you guess?

In Maths today we are completing word problems. See how you get on with the video and questions below.

And for your final task of the day I would like you to watch and listen to the musical story, 'Creepy Crawly Calypso.'  See if you can hear the steel drums. Do you remember when we played them with Mr Baugh? Listen carefully and see if you can hear the other instruments too.
