Week 5 - 4.5.20

It might only be the second week of live teaching but the children have really risen to the challenge. If you had asked me back in September if the children would be able to use video conferencing and complete their lessons to such a high standard, I would have said that it was impossible and far too advanced.  I feel so proud of all their achievements over the last few weeks and I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you working with the children at home. Home learning is not easy and the children are doing so well because of all your efforts - so thank you!!!

 

The daily link for each lesson will be on the google classroom page please use this to access each lesson - 9.30-10.30 Maths and 11-12 English. The links are available 15 mins before each lesson and the children will find warm up activities for them to complete. It is really important that the pupils login prior to the lesson starting as it is very difficult to go over what they have missed once the lesson has started.

 

Each week there will be a subject theme/competition. This week I would like the children to take time to design a VE celebration poster to display in their window at home.  More information can be found in the folder below which will give the children links where they can learn more about VE day and its importance.  This work is not compulsory but is there as an additional task if you wish to complete it.
