English task
Look at the next few pages from the story. Today you will be focusing on spoken words and thoughts. On some of the pictures the boy is clearly thinking. What do you think he is thinking? On other pictures, the boy is talking to his parents, the lifeguard and possibly the lady in the shop. What do you think they are saying? You can either record your answers in a table, with one side being speech and the other being thought, or you can draw speech/ thought bubbles to record in. (You don't need to use inverted commas when using speech/ thought bubbles.)
