English- Egyptian Pyramid video clip! (Diary writing)

Today's lesson is a one-off and we are going to be using a video clip from the Literacy Shed to inspire our writing.

I will try and play the clip to you in the lesson BUT technology might not work so please try and watch it yourself beforehand if you can.

We will then discuss the features of a diary and will try to write a diary entry from the point of view of one of the characters. 

Maths-

1. Times Tables Rock Stars

I would like you to have a go at this at least 3 times a week!

The more you practice, the more coins you earn and the better you will get at your tables 

 

2. Lesson- PROBLEM SOLVING FRIDAY!

Today I have given you a mixture of questions from a range of maths topics (addition, money, shape etc...)

Have a go at each of the challenges- there are 8 on each sheet.

Please show your working out in your maths book!

If you find sheet 1 fairly simple then definitely have a go at sheet number 2 as well.

If you find sheet 1 very tricky then just take your time and complete that.

Give yourself about an hour for these activities (I don't expect you to do it all day)
