Look at the first few pages of the book called Flotsam. What is flotsam? Have you heard of jetsam? Find out what they both are and write a definition.
Pretend to be the boy in the story. Look carefully at the pictures and write what happened to you. You will need to write in the first person (I, me, my etc) and in the past tense.
