Homework

Year One Homework

In Year One, children will have Maths, Phonics and English homework each week. Homework will be sent home on a Friday and will be due back in the following Wednesday. 

​​​​​​​Maths homework will be completed on Magma Maths. Each child will have their own login, which is a QR code, and this will be stuck into their reading diaries. There will be multiple questions to complete on Magma, but if there are any issues please let me know.

​​​​​​​Phonics homework will be practicing the sounds your child has learnt that week. I will upload a document with the sound videos on, which you can use at home!

​​​​​​​English homework will range from handwriting to sentence writing, using different features that we have learnt in our lessons that week. 

Please can your child bring their reading folder and diaries daily, as we will be reading our phonics books daily in school.
