Welcome to Year 2!

I hope that you have had a lovely summer and that the children aren't too exhausted after nearly a whole week back at school! I have really enjoyed meeting them all and look forward to getting to know you better at the meet the teacher event soon.

Class Reminders

- Our PE days are Monday and Friday. Children should come to school in their PE kit on these days.

- Homework will be handed out weekly on a Friday and is due in the following Friday (the first homework of the year will be done over two weeks).

- Spellings will be handed out on a Friday and will be tested the following Friday.

Common Exception Words

Year two children should know how to spell these words by the end of the year.
