Religious Education

At St Austin’s Catholic Primary School, we want every child to be a happy and enthusiastic learner in RE lessons.  We want them to be eager to achieve their very best in order to fulfil their God-given talents. We firmly believe that the recipe for success is high quality teaching in RE, which is central to the mission of our happy, caring school.

We are very fortunate to have our own beautiful church just a short walk from the school. It provides a special place where we come together to celebrate important occasions and share meaningful moments as a school community.

What Our Pupils Say

‘Our Mission Statement is about love and showing that we love to learn. We are a part of a God’s presence in the world and part of God’s family. As a school family, we also think of others and give to charity. This is an example of showing God’s presence in the world.’

‘We love R.E because we learn all about Jesus’ miracles, you can learn about being Catholic and the Catholic faith.’

‘When we learn about R.E it makes me feel full of wonder.’

'Learn to love, Love to learn, Together in Christ'
