Hot or cold?
During this vehicle, we will be learning about polar regions including the different animals and weather.
Some of the things we will be covering:
- Literacy/Communication and language – reading and discussing stories about polar regions and different ‘cold’ animals
Writing CVC words and forming lower case letters correctly
- Personal, social and emotional – following routines and instructions, building on our concentration
- Maths- numbers to 10, addition to 10, number bonds to 10
- Physical –different movement, dance
- Understanding the world- Comparing places and seasonal change (Winter). Celebrating Chinese New Year
- Expressive arts and design- using different materials for different effects
- RE – Baptism, people who care for us
