Welcome to Year 3!

Hello everyone! Welcome to our class page. 

Class Dojo

I will frequently update you on what we have been getting up to in year 3 on Class Dojo. Check regularly for updates, homework information and photos of your child's learning in action! Please don't hesitate to contact me on Class Dojo if you have any questions or queries and I will get back to you promptly. 

Reading Challenge

We have an exciting reading challenge in year 3, ask your child about it! Please read with your child regularly and encourage them to read independently at home too. Please sign your child's diary as this will enable them to progress in the reading challenge (I suggest at least three times a week where possible). Many thanks!

Spellings

Children will be given weekly spellings on a Friday and will be tested on their spellings the following Friday. Please ensure your child has their spelling book in on a Friday as we will be doing the tests in these!

PE days

Our PE days will be on Monday and Thursday this year. Please ensure children are in the correct PE kit and that any earrings are removed at home for these days.

Year Three Class Saint

The children have voted for our Class Saint and have chosen Saint Andrew Dung-Lac (or Dunlac). Saint Dung-Lac was born in Vietnam and is famous for being martyred for his faith.
