Monday (04.05.20)

Good Morning! I hope you have had a good weekend.

Don't forget to wake yourselves up this morning with something active. One you are wide awake, please complete your Phonics learning for today.

For Literacy you are going to be thinking about animals that live on a farm. Write a list into your book of as many different farm animals as you can think of. Don't forget to use your phonics to help you to sound out and spell the words. Let me know how many you have got on your list (no cheating!) and we will see who has the most!

In Maths today we are working on our Number Bonds. Watch the video link below and then answer the questions on the sheet or in your book.

If you want any more practise with your number bonds, there are lots of great activities on BBC Bitesize under the KS1/ Year 1/ Daily Learning/ Maths. If you have time, try some of these too.

Year 1 - Week 3 - Lesson 1 - Part-whole relationships number bonds

This is "Year 1 - Week 3 - Lesson 1 - Part-whole relationships number bonds" by White Rose Maths on Vimeo, the home for high quality videos and the people...

For your final task of the day I would like you to ask an adult to read through the Powerpoint Presentation below with you. Talk to each other about the things that you have seen. Did you learn anything new?  Can you answer the questions on the final slide of the powerpoint?

Now; for a bit of fun, see if you can take it in turns to make the sound of a farm animal. Can you guess which animal each other is?
